How to reach the studio from the airport

Using taxi

A taxi ride from the airport to the studio normally lasts about half an hour. The final cost of such rides varies, as it depends on many factors (traffic, tolls, number of baggages etc).

Using public means of transport

Note: The tickets that you can use in Athens (called ATH.ENA tickets) are reloadable and can be purchased/reloaded at ticket counters and Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) inside Metro stations. Alternatively, if you plan to use a bus, you can buy tickets at the arrival area of the airport. If you plan to use the Metro during your stay in Athens as well, you may want to have a look at the fare pricing so that you can opt for the type of ticket that best suits your needs.

Step one: From Airport to Syntagma

Option a: Using Metro (subway)

Journeys to and from the airport are scheduled every 30 minutes, seven days a week. The hours of operation for the station of the airport are 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. For more information, you can check the relevant page for airport to Syntagma station and vice versa.

To go to Syntagma station, you must use Metro Line 3 (the blue one) with direction to Aghia Marina and disembark at Syntagma station. The trip from the Airport to Syntagma lasts approximately 40 minutes. For more information, you can visit the relevant page of the Greek urban railways website.

Option b: Using the X95 Bus

The bus service from/to the airport is provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. For more information, you can check the relevant Athens transport page.

Tickets for the X95 bus cost €6 each and can be purchased at the arrival area of the airport. For more information on ticket prices, you can check this guide.

The trip to Syntagma will normally last about 60 minutes, although its duration depends heavily on traffic conditions. The X95 bus will leave you near the Syntagma square. From there, you will have to walk to Metro station, which is located inside the square.

Step two: From Syntagma to Acropolis station

Syntagma station is open from 5:37 a.m. (5:43 a.m. on weekends) to 12:20 midnight (2:20 a.m. on Fridays/Saturdays) for Line 2. For more information, you can check the relevant page for Syntagma to Acropolis station and vice versa (Line 2).

At Syntagma, use Metro Line 2 (the red one) with direction to Elliniko, and disembark at Acropolis station. You may have to wait for about three minutes for the train to arrive but, once you have embarked on it, it will only take you one minute to reach the station.

You can choose whichever exit of the station you prefer, as they are located close to one another. From there, you will have to walk for about five minutes to reach the studio. You can use this map if you want.

How to reach the studio from Piraeus port

You can take the subway from Piraeus to Omonoia station any time of the day between 5:00 a.m. and 12:30 midnight. For more information, you can check the relevant page of the urban rail transport website.

Walk to the station, which is located just across the street from the port. To go to Omonoia station, you will have to use Line 1 (the green one) with direction to Kifissia, and disembark at Omonoia.

Step two: From Omonoia to Acropolis

The station of Omonoia is open for Line 2 from 5:37 a.m. (5:43 a.m. on weekends) to 12:20 midnight (2:20 a.m. on Fridays/Saturdays). For more information, you can check the relevant page of the urban rail transport website.

Once you have reached Omonoia station, you need to switch to Metro to use the line 2 (the red one) with direction to Elliniko, and disembark at Acropolis station.
